Reflection

We did this project in groups, and I can’t say that I liked it. I already mentioned that working in a group is not my favorite thing, because a lot of people with different opinions are interfering with my thinking process. Even though I worked with wonderful girls I felt apathy and intense emotional fatigue at the end of work with the project, as I was worried that I did not want anything. But I didn’t want to spend much time coordinating with others. Initially, we wanted to use stop-motion animation, but then we gave it up for a reason I don’t understand. I also had the feeling that I didn’t do enough on the team. From the part, it was so, because as a result of my idea with a frame-by-frame cartoon we did not use, and to make a poster was quick (2 hours). I would like to work in a group, but on the condition that it has no more than three members and with more time. Thus the rush will be reduced and will be calmer at work. Also, if in the future I will work in a group I will meticulously discuss our plans and ideas with people, and try to sit so that we do not make sudden changes in our work, as it is very bad for quality.
As for the assignment, I liked the concept, and I think I could do better alone, because looking at our work, I want to change everything. I think it’s empty, and I think the 3D is superfluous and I could do without it. It’s like we were just trying to fill the empty space on the table. I would like to make better use of the original concept of frame-by-frame onimations and then add a part of animation to the digital format so that we have an interesting and self-sufficient final product.
I think that a lot of our result is influenced by the fact that we are not able to work with frame-by-frame animation, which has made our idea so much easier.
What I would like to change: our original concept and story were better, we didn’t want to show how a beginner ends up in primoblerin. We wanted to show that there are different ways to develop your skills and that different people go different ways.
I love when the work looks like a legitimate and self-sufficient product, with its ideas. However, I can not say this about our project. I realize we weren’t supposed to make a masterpiece, but I still feel like we could do better.
When we were looking at other students' work, I liked the work of a group that created a kind of screaming person using cardboard, and so added volume to an old canvas. When I first saw this work, I thought, It looks stylish. I’m attracted to work where you can see the idea and at the same time, you can see that the person tried to surprise, to do something new, and the work is finished.
